OUR RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY:
We are a small business, please understand that cancellations can affect us significantly. When your reservation is confirmed, the room(s) reserved cannot be booked by another guest. When you make a reservation, you agree to the following cancellation policy. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your reservation (or a written letter if requested). We generally require a 2-night minimum stay on weekends (Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday) from April through December and a 3 night stay for special events. Occasionally we may have an individual day available; feel free to contact us to see if it can be arranged.
A reservation is not considered confirmed until a credit card is on file and has a hold equal to a 1-night stay per room. For a longer stay, a hold equal to one-half of the total reservation amount is required.
If notification of a cancellation is received at least (14) days prior to the arrival date (30 days notice for certain packages and special events), the deposit is refundable less a $35.00 cancellation fee per room. If notification of a cancellation is received (14) days or less prior to the arrival date (30 days notice for certain packages and special events), the full amount of the reservation will be charged and is non-refundable. Early departure falls within our cancellation policy. There are no refunds for early departure. We reserve the right to treat a partial cancellation as a cancellation for the entire stay during special events. There is a $20 fee for changing a reservation.
Cancellations must be made by phone.
If your reservation is for 3 or more rooms, for a holiday period, or during a local special event, the same cancellation policy applies, except that the cancellation period is 30 days. Holiday periods are February 10-18, Memorial Day Weekend (Friday - Monday), July 2-6, Labor Day Weekend (Friday - Monday), Thanksgiving week (Sunday - Saturday), and December 23 - January 2. Special local events include Virginia Tech & Radford graduations, open houses, parent’s weekends, orientations and sporting events.
In all cases, we will do everything that we can to re-book a cancelled room.
SMOKING & DAMAGES:
There will be a cleaning charge of $250 if a guest smokes in a room or any Inn common area, smoking is permitted on decks and the grounds. Guests will be held responsible and will be charged for repair or replacement for damages or losses to linens, towels, furniture, furnishings, or other items. A $20 charge will be assessed if you lose your key or do not return it at check-out. No candles, oil lamps, or any open flame devices are permitted in guest suites or rooms at any time.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT:
Check-in time is from 3-9pm, and check-out time is by 11am. Please call us if you need to arrange an earlier or later check-in time, or a later check-out time.
People stay with us to relax and enjoy their surroundings.
The Inn is not suitable for children under the age of 16 or pets of any kind.
CORPORATE AND BUSINESS TRAVELERS:
The Inn gladly provides accommodations tailored to meet the needs of corporate and business travelers. Breakfast during the work week begins at 7AM, with somewhat earlier seatings available by advance arrangement. The Inn features high-speed wireless Internet in all rooms, as well as complementary local and long-distance phone service.
