About the Innkeepers
Innkeepers Lisa Swope and Pam Kellow are an Aunt and Niece team that look forward to inviting you to become a part of their extended family.
They began their journey as Innkeepers by hosting tea parties for their immediate family and friends in their home state of Pennsylvania. Encouraged to branch out and share their joy of hosting these parties, the business idea eventually morphed into running a Bed and Breakfast.
Lisa explains, "On my oldest son's college visit to Virginia Tech, we stumbled upon this amazing Inn, and we just knew this was where our tea party journey was meant to bring us. The Inn at Hans Meadow had everything we were looking for, with the potential for us to add a tea room in the future. We jumped at the opportunity!"
"Essentially, welcoming guests to our Inn is no different than having family stop by. We enjoy sitting around and talking in the evening, making sure everyone who stays is comfortable, and Lisa makes some amazing breakfasts!" adds Pam. "We truly want our guests to feel like they are visiting with family, and hope that they take that feeling with them when their visit with us is done."
So, whether you are traveling on vacation or for business, know that Lisa and Pam will do the best they can do to make you feel welcome and well taken care of.
As the sign hanging by the front door says, "May all who enter as Guests, leave as Friends."
